Donations

Since AmRhein’s opened in 1921, we have been an active supporter of community projects and events. We are solicited by a multitude of charitable organizations, schools, churches, and sports programs in the Roanoke Valley, and throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

In an effort to be fair in our community partnerships, we ask that all requests be submitted accordingly:

  • Submit at least two (2) months prior to your deadline for sponsors/donations.
  • Email your request to Info@AmRheins.com. The subject line must contain the words “donation request” plus the name of the organization and/or event.
  • Thoroughly explain the request. Is it for a direct donation to your organization, such as for an annual fund? Is it for a sponsorship of an event? Is it for an in-kind donation for a live auction, silent auction, raffle, etc?
  • Describe the event, as if you were inviting us to attend. Paint a picture of the event with words. What is the attire for the event? Where is it held? What happens during the event? How many people attend? Who attends (families, donors, business professionals, students)?
  • Detail how proceeds will be utilized. Are they 100% in support of your organization? Will some proceeds go toward paying for an event or other need?
  • Keep attachments to a minimum. It is preferred that you cover the above requests in bullets in the body of your email with no attachments. Once received, the email may be shared with multiple staff, and attachments are easily lost or wind up in spam.

Please note, we only sponsor events or donate items to charities that are certified 501(c)3 non-profit organizations. We do not sponsor or make donations to individuals, families, teams, or other groups that are not 501(C)3 non-profits.

We are especially interested in partnering with groups or events in the Roanoke Valley that match our company’s goals. We are a fine jeweler, a salon offering bridal and formal wear, and a winery. Be creative in your request!

The donation of wine is prohibited by Virginia ABC Laws.

All donation requests will be responded to, as long as the above requirements are followed.
